Another Victor Davis Hanson column - this time on the dangers of Socialism.


Disregard the tongue-in-cheek title of this column. VDH is pointing out the error of those who are trying to drive America towards Socialism. Failure, poverty, and economic failure is inevitable. We must . . .
JUST DAY NO and fight harder and more openly against the people and organizations (the Democratic Party) who are trying to subvert our Constitution and recreate the USA as a "Peoples Democratic Socialist State" - i.e. the latest failed state.

Some snippets to whet your appetite:

Massive immigration is changing the demography of the United States. The number of foreign-born U.S. residents and their children has been estimated at almost 60 million, or about 1 in 5 U.S. residents. Some 27 percent of California residents were born outside of America.
Many of these immigrants flee from poor areas of Latin America, Mexico, Africa and Asia that were wrecked by statism and socialism. Often, they arrive in the U.S. unaware of economic and political alternatives to state socialism.  

So they just look for a "better" Socialism here, when there is no better type - all variations fail.

Another culprit for the new socialist craze is the strange leftward drift of the very wealthy in Silicon Valley, in corporate America and on Wall Street.
Some of the new progressive rich feel guilty about their unprecedented wealth. So they champion redistribution as the sort of medieval penance that alleviates guilt.

Regrettably, sometimes the naive and disaffected must relearn that their pie-in-the sky socialist medicine is far worse than the perceived malady of inequality.
And unfortunately, when socialists gain power, they don't destroy just themselves. They usually take everyone else down with them as well.

BLATE - We must stand up publicly and devote our precious time and energy to halting and reversing the slide towards a SOCIALIST FAILED State here.

Time to stop the Liberal / Democratic coup against the President.


I worked on this for several days, including a day with a failed computer.

BLUF - The "Impeachment Inquiry" hyped by the House Democratic leadership and their publicity lapdogs, the Mainstream Media, is a partisan publicity stunt. There are no impeachable offences behind the hype.
All the allegations raised have come from members of the deep state,  hold overs from the previous administration, fighting to preserve and extend the change from a Constitutional Republic into a Socialist Democracy.

JUST SAY NO to the degradation of our Constitutional Republic.

I think the best case is a shading of the truth, constructed so media and pundits can twist it into an innuendo to fool gullible Americans. The worst case is OUTRIGHT LIES which they were confident would never be fact checked. OBTW, they guessed wrong on that assumption.
JUST SAY NO - I don't believe you.
It is entirely permissible for our head of state to talk with another head of state and ask him to help with a criminal investigation. Just because one of the obviously guilty parties is from the opposition does NOT exempt you from any investigation. (And yes Biden is obviously guilty.) (The Clintons are probably guilty.)
TRUMP is correct to NOT cooperate with the witch hunt. Until and unless the whole house votes to launch an Impeachment Inquiry, all of us should NOT play. Change the channel whenever news or opinion shows try to hype the lies.

JUST SAY NO to the drumbeat of lies.

Democrats are now talking about a vote in the House on the Impeachment Inquiry. Pelosi can't put it off for much longer, and while no firm date has yet been set, she probably figures she held it long enough to insulate Democrats (and turn-coat Republicans) from backlash during the elections less than a week away.

Prove her wrong and JUST SAY NO - by voting out all who voted for starting an inquiry, and those cooperating in the sham effort now underway.

On a related note there are a bunch of TV commercials, in heavy rotation, that are cookie-cutter ads, remarkably similar, for VA state Delegates and State Senators, that all say their opponents are funded by Richmond Republicans. The Richmond Republicans are the Republican Party of Virginia, which is normal -  but the slanted ad makes it sound sinister. And OBTW, the adds themselves fail to mention they are funded by George Soros, an out-of-state billionaire investment banker, who funds organizations devoted to ending American nationalism in favor of the "One World" movement. Like the Democrats in Virginia.

JUST SAY NO to the Democratic candidates, and the One World Movement and his various attempts to impede or  destroy American sovereignty and our Constitutionally limited Democratic Republic of the United States.

BLATE - JUST SAY NO times six. Speak out to defend our freedom as stated in our first 10 Amendments - The Bill of Rights. Vote with your feet and your TV remote to show we won't tolerate the lies, and innuendo passed off as "news" by the media. Support our President as he works to right the ship of state to its Constitutional limits.

Who is the "Main Enemy" today?  I say China

The latest column by Victor Davis Hanson.  A while back I read a book "The Main Enemy" about our cold war battles with the Soviet Union at the "end" of the cold war. It was a good read. But today I'm writing about our new main enemy; and how liberal financial leaders are surrendering the country's Democratic Republic roots to become an authoritain, socialist, wan shadow modeled on CHINA.
JUST SAY NO.

Thoughts on the ISLAMIC Terrorist attack on 9-11-2001 BLUF - Never forget, and NEVER shrink from calling out those who won'i name the perpetrators of the worst surprise attack since Pearl Harbor.

18 years ago the United States was attacked by a group of ISLAMIC terrorists who planned to attack the Pentagon, the White House, and the World Trade Center. (The White House plane went down in Schwenksville PA after the passengers fought back against the ISLAMIC terrorist hijackers.)

I will never forget that morning. I had friends and co-workers from my 3 pentagon tours, and sponsors of my work at CNA who worked in the Pentagon. Thankfully my colleagues and friends all survived, but some received burns while helping evacuate the wounded from the affected part of the building.

Later I left CNA to work as a contractor for a national agency. The Big boss of my group impressed me years later, in 2006, when he described how he goes to work angry every day since 9/11/2001 that our organization couldn't do more to stop ISLAMIC extremists. And OBTW we were doing a very good job disrupting ISLAMIC extremists. But we could only act outside the USA.

Today we have two ISLAMIC extremists sitting as members of congress and actively working to minimize our memory of the despicable acts of ISLAMIC terrorism that killed 2,977 people that morning; and thousands more from illness after rushing towards danger to help.

We need to publicly shame those congress women whenever they violate the oath they took "to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign AND DOMESTIC"; and to call out the citizens of the states of Minnesota and Michigan who elected terrorist apologists to represent them. I consider them domestic enemies of our Constitutional Republic.

BLATE - JUST SAY NO to any attempts to subvert our Constitutionally governed Republic of the (current) 50 states; created to fulfill the aspirations as stated in our Declaration of Independence; to have a government that protects the rights of all citizens against the government or a vocal minority of people to eliminate those innate rights. (I've tried to avoid saying "god given" rights. but the rights are our individual rights, not given by our government.)

BLATE #2 - The 2 radical ISLAMIC Apologists (minimum description of their offenses) need to be removed from office by the people who elected them for violation their oath of office.

Found an excellent column by Tucker Carlson on the dangers coming from the radical left wing that is ready o throw out the constitutional protections that keep us safe from a fringe saying pleasant sounding, but foolhardy and impossible, promises. He says to JUST SAY NO, and HELL NO; so he is echoing my words.

BLUF - JUST SAY NO -- this time I have several short observations to share.
Please read to the end. I have a different BLATE at the end but it is an IMPORTANT NEW CONSERVATIVE Thought to get to and to understand.

FIRST:
TRUMP is right to JUST SAY NO to complying with any further Democrat/Socialist/Communist harassment via hearings that are only to further media time from their propaganda arm (most mainstream TV and Print media).
A blogger/author whom I admire says when the forces of evil (Democrat/Socialist) say or do something stupid - point it out and laugh at them. TRUMP's twitter use is among the best efforts to point out the excesses and stupidity of his disloyal opposition. I and most people who are not brainwashed by media bias, or our stupid party (Country Club Republicans) caterwualing about appropriate conduct (never seems to notice or comment on Democrat/Communist inappropriate conduct) see through the stupidity. TRUMP fights back, and more power to him.
If the Communist/Democrat controlled House ever comes up with a legitimate request for information they won't need  subpoena, TRUMP will deliver the legitimate info promptly.

SECOND:
The current Immigration Laws, even when enforced, do a disservice to American citizens. (And the businesses they try to operate successfully despite the heavy hand of laws passed by our government (and the even heavier RULES ordered by an unelected Administrative State) that work against a successful business.)  
And Democrats/Socialists skew enforcement toward their short-term political goals, to the detriment of American citizens. American citizenry needs a common, unifying "lingua Americana" (i.e. American English) (Even Obama now says immigrants need to learn English.) And TRUMP is right to significantly reduce "Chain Immigration" in favor of getting more skilled immigrants (who hopefully want to pursue the American dream of success without unbearable Government oversight pressuring the wheels of free enterprise.) TRUMP, and all of us, should JUST SAY NO to chain migration.

THIRD:
A country without borders (and with effective entry and exit controls) is NO COUNTRY AT ALL. TRUMP and I don't want to join as "One World Government" modeled on the EU failed/failing Humanitarian National Socialist model. We both want a LIMITED FEDERAL DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC of the Several States; as laid out in our Constitution describing the best way to achieve the goals articulated in our Declaration of Independence. We both JUST SAY NO  to any and all attempts to destroy the existing compact between the Citizens of these UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

BLATE - I believe in the concept of "Servant Leadership" (thanks USMC) and think our leaders should be chosen by us Citizens to serve our interests, not theirs, to the best of their ability and using their knowledge and information they develop while serving OUR interests.
Sorry the BLATE was so long. But I think it is an important concept to articulate.

Reposting the newest Victor Davis Hanson column; another cogent analysis of the Democratic (Communist) effort to obstruct and unseat the current LEGALLY ELECTED PRESIDENT.
He describes how the animus has shifted to the Attorney General for accurately summarizing the:
          "22 months, $34 million and a 448-page, two-volume {Mueller} report. "
He was supposed to sacrifice his ethics and legal standards to meet media and Democratic 2+ year fantasies.
He is accused of being "The President's Wingman" which is Democratic Transference. Obama's two Attorneys General.
       (I tend to refer to him as Barry Sotero, which is what he went by in High School until he
         needed to be more Black.)
Please read and understand how the desperate opposition is grabbing at straws in an attempt to continue their coup attempt. Share what you now know to be true; and
